Previous PostFor everyone waiting to see more green stones, here is a bunch I’ve just finished. Nearly all of these are destined for rings. The red/purple ones are blue Chalcedony from Africa, you can see the red dopping wax through them. The green is Parrot Wing Jasper from Mexico and there’s one little Chrysocolla in there from Arizona. Very happy with the polish!! #parrotwing #chrysocolla #chalcedony # #green #cabochon #lovemyjob #handcraftedjewelleryNext PostA peek at a new designs I’m making for some earrings. The narrow stem is inspired by the knife edge wire used in Edwardian era jewellery. It looks thin but actually comes to a taper at the front and is wider at the back. Stems are silver which I’ve blackened and left tool marks. The hooks and settings are gold. Set with stunning Killiecrankie Diamonds/Topaz from Flinders Island Tasmania. You could dress these up or wear them every day! Super comfortable! #earrings #australianstones #handcrafted #handcraftedjewellery #edwardianinspired #knifeedge #topaz #tasmania #madeintasmania #sparkle
